Our Story

The DeMarzo Family of Coral Springs, Florida, is an Italian American family made up of parents, Frank and Jeannie, and their two children, Jennifer and Danielle. Their lives were turned upside down when Danielle, at the age of four, was diagnosed with Turner’s Syndrome. Turner’s Syndrome is a rare chromosomal disorder that occurs in one out of every two thousand girls and can affect the child’s heart, kidneys and stature.

Mr. and Mrs. DeMarzo were very aggressive in finding the best treatment for Danielle. For years they traveled great distances to gather information and find specialists to treat their daughter. This experience drove them to help organize local support groups for families throughout South Florida.

Faith and love are two cornerstones of the DeMarzo family. Because of their devotion to helping children with special needs, the Danielle DeMarzo Foundation, Inc. was formed. The Danielle DeMarzo Foundation, Inc. is a recognized 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing resources and activities for affected individuals.

Danielle is fine now, she is pursuing a career in the field of medicine. After her experience, she wants to help others as she was helped herself. She is a true miracle success story.
